| I paid him $2200 as he was leaving the country and needed to sell it fast. It had a bunch of mods on the car that was worth decent money, so in no time, I had made my money back, and still had the Z. It did have some "minor" issues that were quickly resolved. I meticulously detailed the car, interior and exterior and the car was now stock except for the Apexi intake and SZ exhaust it came with. I didn't really drive it for the first few months as my plan was to flip it, but then I got into inspection trouble and my current Z was deemed "uninsurable". Really shitty deal. What's a man to do? Swapped my insurance to this car and I was truly amazed how awesome a stock car ran. So smooth, idle'd perfectly, even the SZ exhaust with cats was not obnoxious at all. I had no worries about driving the car as it just ran "perfect". Somewhat of a weird feeling with how we've become used to random issues and stress with our modded cars. This Z gave me 0 stress. The only stress I had was trying to sell a RHD Auto, and although it took many months, in hindsight, wish it took longer to sell. It was just so easy to drive an Automatic with stock wheels with fat rubber. Such a comfortable ride with the OEM shocks I put in (which was my old set). Just like you mentioned, the car idle'd when it idle'd. It was a TT which was nice, but it rains here 9 months of the year so I really had no need for it too much. The looks people gave me for a very clean Z, albeit RHD was astonishing. You know you have something nice when OGs are giving you the thumbs up! Everything on that car was perfect, and I had no problems with it after the initial month of touching things up. Man do I miss it. I ended up selling it for cheap ($4500) to a kid 100km away after about 5 months of trying to sell it. Only one other person even looked at the car, and only had a handful of "legitimate" emails; damn RHD's. As the kid sat in the car, he whispered to his brother right away "man, this is so clean". At the time, I was relieved I sold it, but I actually miss it now. So easy to drive, simple, unmodded and unmolested. It was the perfect commuter car with a little bit of umph. Stupid kid, right after I handed him the keys, I gave him a "lesson" on how to not be too confident and to ease his way into the power of the TT. As soon as he pulled out of the Home Depot parking lot, I hear him just RAPE the car...in the rain. Ugh. Now I got another RHD (my first Z) with ricer veilside to sell, plus a DSM. There is no way I would regret selling either of those.
